Diabetes Remission After Gastric Bypass | News Brief

Many severely obese adults who undergo gastric bypass surgery appear to experience a durable remission of type 2 diabetes, according to a large cohort study. However, more than one-third (35.1%) of patients who had their diabetes go into remission experienced a relapse within 5 years.
