Pertussis Hospitalization Risk by Age | News Brief

Patients aged 65 or older appear to be more likely to be hospitalized for pertussis than adults aged 45 to 64, according to a large cohort study. The incidence of pertussis notification did not differ by age. However, hospitalization rates per 100,000 person-years were as follows:
