Glucose Intensification in Diabetes & AMI

An investigation of patients with diabetes who were hospitalized for acute myocardial infarction (AMI) suggests that few undergo glucose therapy intensification (GTI) at discharge. The research team added that long-term glucose control appears to be poor among patients with diabetes who suffer an AMI.
