Gender & AMI Recovery


Women appear to have worse health than men after experiencing an acute myocardial infarction (AMI), according to a study. Researchers found that women had significantly lower generic and disease-specific health status scores than men when assessed at baseline and at 1 and 12 months after an AMI.
