In a recent study published in Dermatology and Therapy, patients with psoriasis who had low body surface area (BSA) involvement experienced similarly poor quality of life and symptom burden compared to patients with higher BSA. The researchers concluded that biologic therapies can be appropriate in patients with low BSA, particularly if they have high-impact site involvement and topical failure.
