Hurricane Sandy damage in Basking Ridge, NJ

Trees and telephone wires down after the storm near our office in Basking Ridge, NJ

The past week has posed major challenges and hardships for millions in the path of Hurricane Sandy, and unfortunately our New Jersey offices have been shut down since the storm hit last Monday night.

This morning, our editorial office in Hamilton, NJ, regained power, but our sales office in Basking Ridge — which houses the computer servers for both offices — is still in the dark, as are some of our staff. But despite limited capabilities during the outages, PW wallboard displays continue to be delivered as quickly as possible, and we are working remotely to keep the website updated and to deliver this week’s PW e-newsletter.

We hope you will bear with us as we do our best to keep Physician’s Weekly content updated in print and online while we wait for normalcy to return. In the meantime, if you would like to connect with us, visit us on Facebook  and post a comment or send us a direct message.

UPDATE: Power was restored to the Basking Ridge sales office Tuesday night, Nov. 7 and all systems (with the exception of heat) are back online at both our locati0ns. PW staff can now be reached via phone or e-mail — assuming we maintain power during the coming Nor’easter! Good luck to all along the NY/NJ coasts this evening…
