Reconstructive Surgery for Overcorrected Clubfoot

Supramalleolar osteotomy appears to be effective in treating ankle impingement for patients with an overcorrected congenital clubfoot deformity. Results from a small study found that the approach was associated with a low risk of perioperative complications, significant pain reduction, increased ankle motion, and improved clinical outcomes.
