Teen Birth Rates Declining

Data from the CDC indicate that the birth rate for females aged 15 to 19 declined 25% from 2007 to 2011, dropping from 41.5 to 31.3 births per 1,000, the lowest rate ever recorded for the United States. The figure below depicts a breakdown of findings by race/ethnicity:
