There have been various studies and research programs being organized in order to develop the vaccine fr the novel coronavirus. However, above that, there is an equal effort that is being made in order to assure that the people are provided the best possible healthcare. This is especially for those who are already suffering from various types of illnesses. These include diseases like diabetes. When diseases like the novel coronavirus and the existing diseases like diabetes meet, there are greater threats that are produced for the body to tolerate. Therefore, what matters the most in such situations is to ensure that the people are provided with the best possible care in this regard. There have been studies in which the researchers have been able to take the population infected with coronavirus from March 1 to March 31. These patients were the ones which had 50 percent of those people who were already suffering from diabetes. The results showcased how in the minimum amount of time, these people who got infected with the virus in addition to diabetes, have a greater risk of death and hospitalization. They also required an additional amount of glycemic control.
