Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) is an inflammatory sinonasal condition that requires a combined precision medicine approach. A more pragmatic approach that takes into account illness traits that are possibly curable should be included in a precision medicine model. There are several treatable qualities in CRSwNP, ranging from disease-related traits to extra-ENT features to behavioural and environmental factors. This study highlights current findings of CRSwNP-related treatable features and how they can be adjusted by certain treatments.

The emergence of biological agents directly connected to the CRSwNP-based endotype encourages the scientific community, for each individual patient, to integrate clinical, surgical and immunological assessments; this naturally leads to the identification of specific treatable features, which can serve as possible results for any biological individual.
