Report: More U.S. Women Going Uninsured


From 2000 to 2010, the estimated number of uninsured women aged 19 to 64 in the United States increased from 12.8 million to 18.7 million, according to a report from the Commonwealth Fund. The report, available at, compared the healthcare experiences of U.S. women to those of 10 industrialized nations with universal health insurance systems.
