Aerobic Exercise Benefits Patients With Asthma

Aerobic training for 12 weeks appears to reduce bronchial hyper-responsiveness and serum pro-inflammatory cytokines in patients with moderate or severe asthma, according to published research. Aerobic exercise also improved quality of life and asthma exacerbations in this patient population.
