Micropauses Reduce Impact of Surgeon Fatigue

An experimental study has found that using micropauses—20-second breaks every 20 minutes—appears to completely or almost completely prevent surgeon muscular fatigue. The authors noted that recent reports have suggested that prolonged surgical procedures can directly affect comfort and surgical accuracy among surgeons.
