HealthVoyager, a virtual reality (VR) device that allows patients to see their endoscopy or colonoscopy findings in a customized way, as compared to normal procedures in this randomized controlled experiment. To help patients understand medical knowledge and procedures, gastroenterologists may use the platform to generate a personalized VR patient report that can be sent to the patient through a VR headset. During a survey, 41 individuals answered questions about their experiences obtaining medical information.

The results showed that patients were substantially happier with HealthVoyager than with traditional treatment when it came to learning about their gastrointestinal condition and procedure results. Health care professionals and patients in different disease stages and patient demographics can benefit from these findings.
