To provide urologists with information on how to address and manage lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in patients who have had prostate cancer radiation therapy (RT). There have been few studies that particularly look at treatment methods for LUTS in individuals who have had prostate cancer radiation therapy. When compared to de novo LUTS, LUTS following prostate RT are distinct. Understanding these disparities is critical for both urologists’ practise and patients’ quality of life. More research into therapies for storage and voiding symptoms after RT is required to assist guide future therapy.
