The purpose of this study was to talk about the problems and/or obvious complications that come with the 3-piece inflatable penile prosthesis (3-IPP) pump. Researchers also discussed ways to handle such difficulties surgically or non-surgically. Numerous variations of the 3-IPP pump have been created, along with a variety of pump placement strategies. These are primarily determined by the method used to locate the 3-IPP. Pump problems are unavoidable, and there are several unique movements that may be performed to remedy pump problems.

Urologists must be aware of pump malfunction strategies in order to avoid needless surgical operations and pump revision. Several studies on pump problems and patient satisfaction are examined; nevertheless, a more organized prospective study effort is required to better analyze these concerns.
