To outline the creation of the Rhinitis Control Assessment Test (RCAT), its utility in clinical practice, and the benefit it offers patients suffering from allergic and nonallergic rhinitis was the study’s goal. The RCAT is a basic, quick, self-administered questionnaire designed to help physicians assess patients’ rhinitis management in clinical practice. It was also intended to assist patients to understand what rhinitis control entails. The RCAT gives a rhinitis score that is simple to understand and suitable for long-term rhinitis control monitoring. Controlling rhinitis is an elusive objective for both clinicians and patients. It was considered that having a patient-rated screening tool, such as the RCAT, to help achieve this aim was critical. It demonstrated the multiple nature of rhinitis control when utilized correctly. It should also lead to an increase in the quality of care for rhinitis sufferers.
