Work Hours: Perceptions From Residents

Most surgery residents do not appear to perceive that quality of care would be noticeably improved by reducing work hours, according to findings from a survey of more than 6,000 surgery residents. Less than 25% of respondents felt that stricter hour limits would largely or maximally improve quality of care.
