Psoriasis Update: 2024 takes place during Maui Derm Hawaii 2024, Tuesday, January, 23, 11:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m. in the Grand Wailea Haleakala Ballroom. A panel of leading authorities will discuss the rapidly changing landscape of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Their discussion will include new topical and systemic drugs, new findings, management strategy updates, psoriatic arthritis, and the immunology and genetics of psoriasis.
A 2-hour afternoon workshop follows the panel discussion, involving in-depth, case-based discussion of a wide array of challenging scenarios.
The panel will be moderated by Bruce E. Strober, MD, PhD, Interim Chair, Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Trials Unit at the University of Connecticut Health Center’s Department of Dermatology.
Faculty involved include:
- Arthur Kavanaugh, MD, Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine, and Director of the Center for Innovative Therapy in the UCSD Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology.
- Linda Stein Gold, MD, Director of Dermatology Clinical Research at Henry Ford Health System, and Division Head of Dermatology at Henry Ford Health System.
- Andy Blauvelt, M.D., MBA, Investigator at Oregon Medical Research Center, and National Psoriasis Foundation Medical Board Chair.
- Joel M. Gelfand, MD, MSCE, Associate Professor of Dermatology and Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine.
